CHECK CASHING SERVICE LOCATION ACTIVITY

Pursuant to Section 36a-581 of the Connecticut General Statutes, on January 31, 2000, New York Cash Express, Inc. DBA ACE "America's Cash Express" applied to operate a check cashing service general facility at 161 Boston Avenue, Bridgeport, Connecticut.

ORGANIZATION OF HOLDING COMPANY AND ACQUISITION

On January 31, 2000, pursuant to Section 36a-181 of the Connecticut General Statutes, the Banking Commissioner granted approval to The Greenwich Bank & Trust Company, a capital stock Connecticut bank, to organize Associated Community Bancorp, Inc. as a holding company. The Commissioner also issued a notice of intent not to disapprove the acquisition by Associated Community Bancorp, Inc. of all of the outstanding voting securities of Westport National Bank, a national bank.
