Any comments should be in writing to John P. Burke, Banking Commissioner, at the Connecticut Department of Banking, 260 Constitution Plaza, Hartford, CT 06103-1800 or via E-mail to john.burke@ct.gov. Written comments will be considered only if they are received within ten days from the date of this bulletin.

FOREIGN BANK LICENSE

Pursuant to Section 36a-428a of the Connecticut General Statutes, the Banking Commissioner issued a license effective June 29, 1998, to UBS AG to establish and maintain a state branch at 677 Washington Boulevard, Stamford, Connecticut, after Swiss Bank Corporation filed a notice of merger with Union Bank of Switzerland pursuant to Section 36a-428i of the Connecticut General Statutes.
