State’s Attorneys’ Advisory Board

Minutes of Meeting of May 18, 2020

The meeting was called to order at 12:31 p.m. by New Britain State’s Attorney Brian Preleski, President of the Board. The meeting was conducted remotely utilizing Zoom software in accordance with directives issued by the Governor because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Also present: Chief State’s Attorney Richard J. Colangelo, Jr.; Deputy Chief State’s Attorney Kevin D. Lawlor; State’s Attorneys Margaret E. Kelley (Ansonia/Milford), Stephen J. Sedensky III (Danbury), Joseph T. Corradino (Fairfield), Gail P. Hardy (Hartford), Dawn Gallo (Litchfield), Michael A. Gailor (Middlesex), Patrick J. Griffin (New Haven), Michael L. Regan (New London), Paul J. Ferencek (Stamford/Norwalk), Matthew C. Gedansky (Tolland), Maureen T. Platt (Waterbury) and Anne F. Mahoney (Windham).

Also present: Executive Assistant State’s Attorneys John P. Doyle, Jr., Brett Salafia and Sharmese Walcott, legislative liaison Wilfred Blanchette, Jr., Manager of Planning and Research Ivan Kuzyk and Communications and Legislative Specialist Mark A. Dupuis.

State’s Attorney Sedensky moved to accept the minutes of the April 20, 2020, meeting. State’s Attorney Kelley seconded the motion and it passed with no one in opposition.

There was no old business.

The Board welcomed State’s Attorneys Corradino and Ferencek and congratulated both on their appointments on April 30, 2020.

State’s Attorney Platt moved to adjourn. State’s Attorney Sedensky seconded the motion and it passed with no one in opposition. The meeting adjourned at 12:32 p.m.
