State’s Attorneys’ Advisory Board

Minutes of the Meeting held July 23, 2012

In attendance were: Chief State’s Attorney Kevin Kane; Deputy Chief State’s Attorneys John Russotto and Leonard Boyle; State’s Attorneys Kevin Lawlor, Stephen Sedensky, John Smriga, Gail Hardy, David Shepack, Peter McShane, Michael Dearington, Brian Preleski, David Cohen, Maureen Platt and Patricia Froehlich.

The meeting was called to order at 1:32 p.m.

The minutes of the previous meeting were accepted on a motion by State’s Attorney Smriga, seconded by State’s Attorney Dearington.

A brief discussion was held regarding the procedures being used to audit Division of Criminal Justice (DCJ) facilities that house COLLECT computers. They are requiring all employees with access to be fingerprinted.  Chief State’s Attorney Kane stated we will request that something be sent in writing by the auditors in order to determine precisely what is required of DCJ personnel.

The meeting adjourned at 1:38 p.m.

The next meeting will be held August 27, 2012 at the Office of the Chief State’s Attorney.
