Safety & Health Services
The Safety & Health Services unit is tasked with implementing Section 31-40v of the Connecticut General Statutes, which provides for the establishment of safety and health committees by certain employers in order to promote health and safety in places of employment in Connecticut.
Safety & Health Services staff make site visits to covered employers, assisting them in meeting the requirements set forth in Section 31-40v and related regulations, Sections 31-40v-1 through 31-40v-11.
