Teacher of the Year Ceremony
Due to inclement weather, the Teacher of the Year Ceremony has been postponed to December 16, 2025 from 5-7pm. Doors will open at 4pm. The Ceremony will take place at the Bushnell Theater in Hartford, and the order of events will remain the same.

Literacy

During this recorded session, we will provide families and educators with overview of the information and resources included in the Literacy section of the Supporting Parents/Caregivers of Students with High Needs During the COVID-19 Pandemic resource guide. During this session, learn tips, strategies, and additional resources, as you support your child or young adult with literacy activities at home. The areas of literacy addressed in this session include: Shared Reading Supports, Access to Books, Word Identification and Decoding Supports, Alphabet Awareness Supports, Phonological Awareness Supports, Comprehension Supports, and Writing Supports.
