Due to inclement weather, the Teacher of the Year Ceremony has been postponed to December 16, 2025 from 5-7pm. Doors will open at 4pm. The Ceremony will take place at the Bushnell Theater in Hartford, and the order of events will remain the same.

During this recorded session, we will provide families and educators with overview of the information and resources included in the Life Skills / Self-Help Skills section of the Supporting Parents/Caregivers of Students with High Needs During the COVID-19 Pandemic resource guide. Life skills are functional skills or tasks that develop independence, improve executive functioning abilities, promote positive thinking, and strengthen self-esteem and self-control.
