Healthcare Benchmark Initiative Technical Team

The Office of Health Strategy (OHS) has convened the Healthcare Benchmarks Initiative (HCBI) Technical Team to guide the next phase of the state’s benchmark program. The team includes individuals with expertise in healthcare economics, health policy and related fields. Collectively, the team will develop a methodology to establish the healthcare cost growth benchmarks and primary care spending targets for the next five-years 2026-20230.

The Connecticut Healthcare Benchmark Initiative plays a key role in improving the health of state residents by ensuring access to high-quality affordable health care.

OHS publishes Healthcare Cost Growth Benchmark, Quality Benchmark and Primary Care Spending Target reports annually measuring performance against the benchmarks and targets.
