What can I do if I appealed for a higher reimbursement rate but didn’t get it?

If you get health insurance through your employer, talk to the Benefits Administrator at work. They will let you know what kind of insurance you have and may help you talk to the insurance company about your rate.

If the Benefits Administrator can't help, Connecticut workers can contact:

Connecticut Insurance Department
Attn: Consumer Affairs Division
PO Box 816, Hartford, CT 06142
Phone: 800-203-3447
Fax: 860-297-3872

You can also contact the Office of the Healthcare Advocate (OHA):

Phone: 866-466-4446

Email: Healthcare.Advocate@ct.gov
