Internet and more for all of CT

The Office of State Broadband (OSB) is located within the Connecticut Office of Consumer Counsel (OCC) under General Statutes §16-2a(c).

Our mission is to facilitate the availability of broadband access to every state resident and to advocate for the adoption of broadband in order to close the digital divide.

Broadband internet is an essential service for work, education, health care, and full participation in society. We work to improve public policy and advocate on behalf of consumers in front of Federal and State agencies to ensure everyone can have access.
