  Governor Dannel P. Malloy will partially activate the state's Emergency Operations Center (EOC) on Saturday at 8:00 a.m. to coordinate the state's response in advance of Hurricane Sandy. Based on the current forecast, it is anticipated that the state EOC will go to full activation on Sunday at 8:00 a.m.

• Gov. Malloy Directs Non-Essential State Employees Not to Report to Work Tuesday

  Governor Dannel P. Malloy tonight announced that he has ordered all shifts of non-essential state employees to stay home on Tuesday, October 30.

  On Thursday, United States Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano will visit Connecticut and join Governor Dannel P.
