Gov. Malloy Announces Opening of DMV Express Center in Southington for License and ID Card Renewals
Governor Dannel P. Malloy and Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Commissioner Michael Bzdyra announced that effective today, a new DMV Express Center has opened in Southington, providing customers with a convenient location to renew driver’s licenses and identification cards. Located at 755 Queen Street, the office is operated through a partnership with AAA Allied Group.

Governor Dannel P. Malloy and Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) Commissioner James P. Redeker today announced that state resurfaced a total of 261 two-lane miles of roadways in 2018. CTDOT also completed 38 two-lane miles as part of the pavement preservation program, which includes crack-filling, surface patching, drainage repairs, and other rehabilitation work prior to resurfacing to extend the life of existing roadways.

Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that he is directing U.S. and State of Connecticut flags to remain flying at half-staff on Friday, December 7, 2018, in recognition of National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day. The national observation honors the lives lost in the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941.
