  Today at 2:00 p.m., Governor Dannel P. Malloy will hold a news conference at the State Capitol in Hartford to announce an administrative appointment.

• Monday: Gov. Malloy Visits Expanding Technology Company in Windsor and Discusses Job Growth; Keynotes Hartford Rotary Club Meeting

  On Monday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will join an expanding company, Novitex Enterprise Solutions, for the opening of its new MegaCenter in Windsor. The Governor will also discuss the state's jobs report, which is scheduled to be released by the Connecticut Department of Labor earlier in the morning.

• Saturday: Gov. Malloy Kicks Off Robotics Competition in Hartford

  On Saturday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will make welcoming remarks at the opening ceremony of the New England FIRST Robotics Competition in Hartford.  The two-day competition was created to inspire young students and encourage a love of learning for science and engineering.

• Gov. Malloy: Historic Agreement Leads to Billions in Transportation Investment, the Largest in Connecticut History

  Working with House and Senate leaders, Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that the budget agreement reached with the House and Senate last night will fund the historic transportation agenda put forth by Governor Malloy earlier this year. This agreement will lead to the largest investment in transportation in Connecticut history.

• Gov. Malloy: With Launch of CTfastrak this Weekend, CTtransit Bus Service Will Now Operate on Sundays in Bristol, New Britain and Waterbury

  Governor Dannel P. Malloy and Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) Commissioner James P. Redeker today announced that CTtransit bus service will now offer new Sunday service in Bristol, New Britain and Waterbury, beginning this Sunday, March 29, 2015.  The additional service, which will also run on all major holidays - including the upcoming Easter holiday on Sunday, April 5, 2015 - coincides with the launch of the CTfastrak bus rapid transit system this weekend.

  On Monday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will chair a meeting of the State Bond Commission, which will be immediately followed by a media availability.  Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman will also attend.

• Gov. Malloy to Sign Legislation Creating Long Island Sound "Blue Plan"

  Governor Dannel P. Malloy announced today that he plans to sign legislation he introduced earlier this year establishing a Long Island Sound Blue Plan, which was unanimously approved by the State Senate last night in concurrence with the House of Representatives, which passed the bill in April. 

• Gov. Malloy Announces New Incentive in Connecticut Providing Rebates of Up to $3,000 to Buy or Lease an Electric Vehicle

  Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that Connecticut is making it "cheaper" to purchase or lease an electric vehicle as a result of the Connecticut Hydrogen and Electric Automobile Purchase Rebate Program (CHEAPR).

• Gov. Malloy, Lt. Gov. Wyman and Education Commissioner Wentzell Celebrate National Teacher Appreciation Day

  Governor Dannel P. Malloy, Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman and Education Commissioner Dianna Wentzell today released the following statements in honor of National Teacher Appreciation Day:

• Friday: Gov. Malloy Participates in Hammonasset Beach Groundbreaking; Tours Attractions on the Shoreline

  On Friday afternoon, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will participate in the groundbreaking ceremony to commemorate the start of major improvements at Hammonasset Beach State Park in Madison, including a new Meigs Point Nature Center and improvements to West Beach, which was damaged by recent severe storms.  He will be joined by Department of Energy and Environmental Protection Commissioner Rob Klee, Department of Administrative Services Commissioner Melody Currey, First Selectman Fillmore McPherson, park advocates, and other state and local officials.

• Tuesday: Gov. Malloy Speaks at MetroHartford Alliance Event; Welcomes Attendees to the Governor's Tourism Conference

  On Tuesday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will make brief remarks at the MetroHartford Alliance's Rising Star Breakfast, which is taking place in Cromwell as part of the 2015 Travelers Championship Media Day.

• Monday: Gov. Malloy Promotes New England Regional Highway Safety Initiative; Meets with Business Executives to Discuss Importance of Upgrading State's Transportation System

  On Monday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will join highway safety officials and State Police from all six New England states for a news conference in Windsor to launch the region's first-ever coordinated enforcement mobilization aimed at reducing speed-related crashes, injuries and fatalities, which will be launched immediately following the announcement.  Vehicles used in the enforcement mobilization will be on display. 

• Saturday: Gov. Malloy Participates in Whethersfield Memorial Day Parade

  On Saturday, Governor Dannel P. Malloy and Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman will participate in the Wethersfield Memorial Day parade. 

• Gov. Malloy: Election to Fill Vacancy for Probate Judge in Hartford to be Held this Fall

  Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that an election to fill a vacancy for Judge of Probate for the Hartford Probate District will be held during the next general election on Tuesday, November 3, 2015.
