Malloy and Secretary of the State Denise Merrill today are reminding all eligible Connecticut voters (any U.S. citizen residing in the state age 18 or older) not yet registered to vote that Election Day Registration takes effect for the first time for the municipal elections on Tuesday, November 5, 2013.

  Governor Dannel P. Malloy announced today that the state Department of Agriculture (DoAg), in cooperation with the Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD), has approved 239 awards totaling $4,922,280 in emergency assistance for Connecticut farms through the Production Loss Assistance Needed Today (PLANT) grant program.

Malloy today announced that the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA), the quasi-state agency created in 2012 to stimulate economic development in the capital region, has closed on the financing of 201 Ann Uccello Street, which will convert an existing Class B commercial office building into 26 one-bedroom units with street level commercial use.
