TUESDAY: GOV. MALLOY MAKES MAJOR SHORELINE RESILIENCY ANNOUNCEMENT IN NEW LONDON; ATTENDS OTHER EVENTS IN LEDYARD & ROCKY HILL

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Tuesday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will make remarks at the Local 371 United Food and Commercial Workers Union's annual Shop Stewards Conference in Ledyard.

Following that, Governor Malloy will hold a news conference in New London on the one-year anniversary of Storm Sandy to make a major announcement regarding shoreline resiliency. He will be joined by Mayor Daryl Justin Finizio, Connecticut Department of Housing Commissioner Evonne Klein, and other state and local officials.

In the afternoon, Governor Malloy will speak at the 46th annual meeting of the One Hundred Club of Connecticut, an organization that supports the surviving families of federal, state and local police officers, firefighters and corrections officers serving in the State of Connecticut who die in the line of duty.
