Per state law, all health care providers are required to electronically report vaccinations for all ages administered in Connecticut to the Connecticut Immunization Information System (CT WiZ).

Please note:

  • CT WiZ began collecting records for young children statewide since 1998.
  • CT WiZ expanded to collect records for all residents of all ages starting since 2022.
  • Note: Historical immunization records prior to these dates may not be in CT WiZ if your providers either did not have them in their immunization records or had not reported them to CT WiZ.

Reasons why records may have “invalid doses” in CT WiZ:

  • You may have received a vaccination that does not follow the recommendations set by the Advisory Committee of Immunization Practices (ACIP), for a variety of reasons.
  • Your complete immunization record may not have been reported to CT WiZ which could have impacted the spacing of vaccinations given.

Note about “Invalid dose” flag:

  • It is a helpful way for providers and their patients to review their records to determine if and when their patients may need additional doses or not.
  • It would be removed if a reporting correction was made on your immunization record in CT WiZ.
  • It will remain on those previous dose(s) on your immunization record, even if you get a repeat dose and are up-to-date at this time.
  • You can follow the next steps below to see if you are up to date at this time.

Next Steps You Can Do:
