The Transfer screen within the On-Hand Inventory screen allows you to transfer vaccines to another clinic and receive vaccines from another clinic.
A few reminders regarding transfers:
- You should initiate the transfer of vaccines to another CVP/CVFA enrolled site willing to use the vaccines 4 months prior to the expiration date.
- Contact CVP/CVFA providers in the area willing to accept a vaccine transfer or view the list of CVP providers to find a provider in your area.
- Package vaccine appropriately to maintain the cold chain. More information on this can be found in the blue folder.
