Governor Lamont Awards 29 Grants To Preserve Nearly 3,000 Acres of Connecticut Land and 5 Grants to Enhance Urban Green Spaces
Governor Ned Lamont today announced that his administration is awarding $6.2 million in funding to protect and preserve open space lands across Connecticut, including $5.5 million to support 29 grants toward the purchase of nearly 3,000 acres of land, plus an additional 5 grants totaling more than $700,000 for distressed communities to promote the use of open space in urban settings.

Governor Lamont Announces Online License Renewals Are Now Outpacing In-Person Transactions at DMV Offices
Governor Ned Lamont today announced that since the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) implemented the ability for residents to renew their licenses over the internet earlier this year, the agency processed 85,370 online renewals between the months of January and May.
