Governor Ned Lamont today announced that more than 50 million pages of state government documents have been digitized through a public-private partnership with Scan-Optics, a data management company based in Manchester, as part of an ongoing initiative to modernize services and produce efficiencies within state government.

Governor Lamont Clarifies Order Requiring State Employees, Childcare, and School Staff To Get Vaccinated or Tested for COVID-19
Governor Ned Lamont today issued Executive Order No. 13G, which replaces and clarifies his previous Executive Order No. 13D. The order does not change the substance or timelines of the previous order and still requires that all Connecticut state employees and staff of all childcare facilities and preK-12 schools statewide receive at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine by September 27, 2021.

Governor Lamont Directs Flags To Half-Staff Saturday in Observance of 9/11 Anniversary

Governor Lamont, Mashantucket Pequot Tribe, and Mohegan Tribe Announce Federal Approval of Revisions To Gaming Compacts
Governor Ned Lamont, Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation Chairman Rodney Butler, and Mohegan Tribal Council Chairman James Gessner Jr. today announced that they have received word from the Bureau of Indian Affairs at the U.S. Department of the Interior that the proposed revisions to the gaming compacts between the State of Connecticut and the tribes that were submitted to the federal agency for consideration earlier this summer have been granted final approval.
