The Office of State Ethics offers training on the Codes of Ethics for public officials, state employees, lobbyists, state contractors, and other interested groups.

 

In-Person, Virtual or Hybrid Ethics Training

Course Length: 40 minutes to 1 hour

The Office of State Ethics offers an interactive training on the State Codes of Ethics that apply to your agency or organization. Learn how the Codes of Ethics direct how we conduct ourselves as we represent or interface with state government.

Training can be specifically tailored to:

  • Public Officials
  • New and Existing State Employees
  • Lobbyists
  • Current and Prospective State Contractors
  • Municipal Employees (as a general overview)

NEW Online Course on the Code of Ethics for Public Officials and State Employees 

This training will educate you on the basic components of the Code of Ethics which guides our work as Connecticut public officials and state employees.

Throughout the course you will be presented with hypothetical scenarios and asked how to handle each. When you answer the questions correctly, you will advance to the next section.

This training takes approximately 30 minutes to complete, depending on the speed of each individual learner.

You may take this course on any device: phone, tablet, or computer.
