Minimum Continuing Legal Education (MCLE)

Connecticut Attorneys – Earn 1 Credit Hour

On February 2, 2017, the Commission on Minimum Continuing Legal Education determined that “Ethics 101:  Part 1 for Public Officials and State Employees” meets the delivery and content requirements of the MCLE rule and qualifies for 1 credit hour.

NOTE:  This course does not include credit toward the 2 credit hours required in the area of ethics/professionalism.

Course Information

Our interactive course on the Code of Ethics for Public Officials and State Employees has recently been revised and updated to provide more content and to reflect changes in the law.  Those who successfully finish this course will complete a printable certificate to verify completion.

The Connecticut MCLE program is a self-reporting system. You must keep track of the courses and hours that you take each year, maintain records to prove compliance with the rule for seven years (see Practice Book §2-27A(d)), and certify on your annual registration form that you have complied with the rule or are exempted from compliance.
