Sip, Stamp & Win: Complete Your Farm Winery Passport

12/04/2025

The 2025 Passport to Connecticut Wine Country, a program of the Connecticut Farm Wine Development Council (CFWDC) administered by the Connecticut Department of Agriculture, concludes on Wednesday, December 31, 2025. Participants must submit completed passport booklets or redeem digital stamps by that date to be entered in the prize drawing, featuring over 100 prizes valued at more than $10,000 total. Winners will be drawn by January 31, 2025, and the Passport program will return in May 2026.

“This is the perfect time to visit a Connecticut farm winery to participate in a holiday sip and shop or unwind among the hustle and bustle of the season,” said Agriculture Commissioner Bryan P. Hurlburt. “Collect a few more stamps in your booklet or on the mobile app while finishing your holiday shopping and remember to redeem them for your chance to win.”

There is still time to collect the minimum of 12 stamps to qualify or plan more visits to unlock higher prize tiers. Here’s what’s up for grabs:

Prize Levels

Winners will be drawn at random for each of the following prize levels. In addition, 50 participants who visited all 36 participating farm wineries will be randomly selected to receive a commemorative gift.

Taster: 12+ wineries – two bottles of wine from each participating farm winery.

Sommelier: 18+ wineries – gift certificates to destinations across Connecticut

Winemaker: 35+ wineries – grand prizes include a trip to Great Wolf Lodge, an experience with HTX Helicopters, and a stay at Delmar Mystic

How to Redeem

  • Mobile app users
    • Tap the level you’ve completed and hit “Redeem” on or before December 31 to enter.
  • Paper passport holders
    • Collect stamps at a minimum of 12 participating locations, fill out your contact information and return the booklet to any participating farm winery on, or before, December 31, 2025.
  • Reminder: One entry per person. Choose either the app or the paper version to submit.

Connecticut is home to more than 45 licensed farm wineries, with 36 participating in this year’s Passport program. All use at least 25% Connecticut Grown fruit, and some proudly carry the CT Grown label for using 51% or more.
