  • As one of several states signing onto the Zero-Emission Vehicle Memorandum of Understanding (ZEV MOU), Connecticut has committed to an ambitious goal of putting 125,000 to 150,000 EVs on the road by 2025.
  • BETP actively engages in regulatory and legislative proceedings to inform equitable and inclusive transportation electrification and clean transit policies and initiatives across Connecticut.
  • BETP’s Office of Buildings and Transportation Decarbonization works closely with the Bureau of Air Management and the Department of Transportation to:
    1. enable widespread adoption and availability of electric vehicles (EVs) and
    2. create equitable and low-carbon mobility solutions that mitigate the air quality and public health impacts of transportation-related emissions and air pollution.
