Interns work closely with COA staff to gain hands-on experience helping the arts flourish in Connecticut. They are unpaid and typically work 8-15 hours per week during school semesters.
If you intern for us, you may support:
- Our programs and services, including professional development workshops for artists and arts administrators
- Special events, such as our annual Arts Heroes Awards
Our interns typically help us:
- Prepare presentations and marketing materials. Graphic design skills are a plus!
- Build and strengthen relationships with members of the arts and culture community, staff, and public officials
- Conduct research on arts and culture activities in cities and towns across the state
- Complete administrative and clerical tasks
