Professional Engineering

Professional Engineer License Requirements and Applications:

 

Renewal for Individual Licensees:


Expiration Date Change:  Pursuant to PA #26-100, the Professional Engineer licenses will now expire biennially instead of annually.  Effective with this change, all Professional Engineer licenses will expire on January 31st of every odd-numbered year. The biennial renewal fee is $570.00. 


Renewal for Professional Engineering Firms:
All firm registrations expire annually.  The annual renewal fee is $375.00.

 

Reinstatement for Individual Licenses: (Please note, Engineers-In-Training are not eligible to reinstate)


Reinstatement for Professional Engineering Firms:
All firms are eligible to reinstate their registration if it has expired for less than three (3) years.  Firms whose registrations have been expired for more than three (3) years must submit a new application for registration.

 

Retiree Status: (retiree status may be requested by individual license holders only)

    Verification of Examination/License Form:

    There is no fee to complete a verification form.
