This registration is required for businesses that reside within the State of Connecticut and produces, prepares, cultivates, grows, propagates, compounds, converts or processes, directly or indirectly, by extraction from substances of natural origin or by means of chemical synthesis or by a combination of extraction and chemical synthesis, or who packages, repackages, labels or relabels a container under such manufacturer’s own or any other trademark or label any drug, device or cosmetic for the purpose of selling such items.

This registration is required for Laboratories that reside within the State of Connecticut that utilize controlled substances for research purposes or law enforcement entities that utilize controlled substances for canines.

This registration allows the Dispensing Group Assistant to perform the duties of a pharmacy technician, provided the dispensing assistant performs such duties under the supervision of a prescribing practitioner who is employed by or affiliated with, or a pharmacist who is employed by, the dispensing group practice that employs such dispensing assistant.
