It might be helpful to investigate what competitors’ services actually cost and present your findings at a condo board meeting if your findings corroborate your suspicions. You might pleasantly surprise the board members with a way to cut costs that benefit the whole community. Or you might create an opportunity to help bring the costs in line with what you’ve found. Board members may receive compensation for their services on the board, but compensation must be disclosed.
