The Connecticut Autorenewal Law requires businesses to make consumers fully aware of automatic renewal and continuous service terms in a clear and conspicuous manner and requires an easy cancellation process for consumers.
Before entering into the agreement, the business must obtain the consumer’s affirmative consent to the autorenewal or continuous service before the business charges the consumer.
