Any verbal, telephonic, written, or electronic agreement:
- about goods or services provided by the business to the consumer for personal, family or household purposes, and
- where the agreement has automatic renewal or continuous service terms.
It is an automatic renewal agreement if the business may restart or extend the agreement without the consumer having to do anything. It is a continuous service agreement if the business provides the service until the consumer cancels.
