GIS Legislative Maps

 

How to Use the Maps to Identify Your Representatives and Districts:

The GIS Office within the DAPA (Data Policy and Analytics) division of the Office of Policy and Management has developed four maps to help identify their representatives and districts in Connecticut. These maps are provided in PDF format and are designed to offer a clear and accurate depiction of legislative and congressional boundaries.

 

Available Maps

  1. Connecticut House of Representatives Map
    • Displays the boundaries of each Connecticut House of Representatives district.
    • Provides information to identify your district and state representative.
  2. Connecticut State Senate Map
    • Shows the boundaries of the Connecticut State Senate districts.
    • Allows you to locate your district and identify your state senator.
  3. U.S. Congress Map
    • Highlights the boundaries of Connecticut’s U.S. Congressional districts.
    • Helps determine which U.S. Congressional district you belong to and your representative in the U.S. House of Representatives.
  4. Connecticut House of Representatives Map (Duplicate with Party Colors)
    • A duplicate map of the Connecticut House of Representatives districts with the color of the party that was elected to represent the district for additional reference.
  5. Connecticut State Senate Map (Duplicate with Party Colors)
    • A duplicate map of the Connecticut House of Representatives districts with the color of the party that was elected to represent the district for additional reference.

 

How to Access the Maps


The maps are static PDFs that can be viewed or downloaded directly from this page. These resources are not interactive. If an interactive version of these maps is needed, requests can be sent to Alfredo Herrera at the GIS Office opm.giso@ct.gov.

 

Purpose and Importance:

These maps were created to:

  • Help residents understand Connecticut’s legislative and congressional boundaries.
  • Enable individuals to identify their elected representatives.
  • Support transparency and accessibility in government processes.
