Beginning October 1, 2026, qualifying patients and their caregivers registered in another state or jurisdiction may purchase medical cannabis at a licensed hybrid retailer or dispensary facility in Connecticut.
A qualifying out-of-state patient and/or caregiver must complete the registration form below, or its equivalent, each time before medical cannabis may be purchased.
In addition to completing the required form, a qualifying out-of-state patient and/or their caregiver must present the following to a hybrid retailer or dispensary facility prior to completing any purchase of medical cannabis:
- A valid qualifying out-of-state credential; and,
- A valid government-issued photo identification.
The registration form, along with copies of the qualifying patient and/or caregiver’s ID and valid qualifying out-of-state credential, must be retained by the hybrid retailer or dispensary facility for no less than three years.
