Teacher of the Year Ceremony
Due to inclement weather, the Teacher of the Year Ceremony has been postponed to December 16, 2025 from 5-7pm. Doors will open at 4pm. The Ceremony will take place at the Bushnell Theater in Hartford, and the order of events will remain the same.

Needs Assessment Toolkit

The needs assessment cycle consists of 5 steps. Step 1 is gathering evidence, step 2 is analyzing evidence, step 3 is brainstorming contributing factors, step 4 is getting to a root cause and step 5 is determining the next steps for improvement.

Theory of Action:
If we engage in careful examination of quantitative and qualitative data to determine the most significant challenges to students’ success, and we further consider the factors contributing to the challenge and identify root causes, then we can develop action steps to address root causes and implement change that will lead to equitable, improved student outcomes.
