Fairfield Region

Located in the southwestern corner and along the western shoreline of the state, the Fairfield region is often considered part of the metro New York economy— particularly when it comes to the financial services and digital technology industries. Hartford Region

As the Insurance Capital of the World, Connecticut’s Hartford region is also home to diverse urban neighborhoods, charming New England small towns, a rich manufacturing tradition and a labor force with one of the highest academic concentrations in the nation. It was named by the Brookings Institution as one of only 19 “Knowledge Capitals” worldwide.

Litchfield Region

Comprised of 21 towns, each with its own unique landscape and history, the Northwest Connecticut region, often called the Litchfield Hills, offers an exceptional level of opportunity for businesses large and small, matched only by its outstanding quality of life. New London Region

Tracing the southeastern shoreline of Connecticut, this region is steeped in history, innovation, and trade, with one of the leading deep water ports in the country known for its maritime and submarine industry. Today it’s also home to many emerging technology sectors as well as several of the state’s top visitor destinations, including two world-class casinos.
middlesex

Middlesex Region

Home to a strong manufacturing and aerospace community, many of the state’s top tourist destinations and a beautiful landscape along the Connecticut River, the Middlesex region offers vibrant downtowns, a strategic location, access to major highways and a superior quality of life.
tolland

Tolland Region

Minutes from downtown Hartford, the Tolland region offers a distinct country feel in the heart of north-central Connecticut. The 13 unique and diverse towns are home to an exceptional quality of life, over 3,000 businesses including technology leaders, and of course, one of the country’s best-known universities, UConn.

Windham Region

Tucked into what is often called “The Quiet Corner” of Connecticut, the Windham Region is quintessentially New England—while also being home to some of the nation’s leading names in advanced manufacturing, aerospace, naval and defense industries.
