Commissioner Area

Editing the Commissioner Area is done from various files under the File icon Commissioner Message.

 

Edit Commissioner Message

  1. Navigate to the Commissioner Area from your Agency Name icon Agency folder > Folder icon _resources > Folder icon Agency Landing Page > File icon Commissioner Message.

  1. Select the File icon Commissioner Message title to display the Commissioner Info Item in the Content Area.
  2. Select the Lock and Edit link in the yellow message box.

  3. Edit the following fields:
    • Commissioner Name
    • Commissioner Picture - Review image size constraints from the Design Style guide
    • Commissioner Message
    • About Title
      Content Editor Content Area - Commissioner Info

 

About Links
  1. Click on the arrow by the File icon About Links title to display the various files to edit.
  2. Click on one of the about links to display the Link Item section in the Content Area.
  3. Select the Lock and Edit link in the yellow message box.

  4. Edit the following fields:
    • Link - Adds a hyperlink to the title
      • Insert link - Hyperlink a task, page, section, or document within your website
      • Insert media link - Hyperlink a document or image within your Media Library
      • Insert external link - Hyperlink to another website page
      • Insert anchor - Hyperlink to an area further up or down on this page
      • Insert email - Hyperlink to an email address
      • Insert JavaScript - Hyperlink to a JavaScript file (Not Allowed)
      • Follow - TBD (Currently does nothing)
      • Clear - Clears the contents in the field
      • Link Description - Enter the text for your alert notice.
      • Associated Agency - N/A for homepage
    • Show Link Description - Leave blank (N/A for homepage)
    • Show Link Agency - Leave blank (N/A for homepage)
    • Agency Link - Leave blank (N/A for homepage)

Blue Links
  1. Click on the arrow by the File icon Blue Links title to display the various files to edit.
  2. Click on one of the blue links to display the Link Item section in the Content Area.
  3. Select the Lock and Edit link in the yellow message.

      • Insert link - Hyperlink a task, page, section, or document within your website
      • Insert media link - Hyperlink a document or image within your Media Library
      • Insert external link - Hyperlink to another website page

Social Media
  1. Click on the File icon Social Media title to display the various files to edit.
  2. Click on one of the social media links to display the Link Item section in the Content Area.
  3. Select the Lock and Edit link in the yellow message box.

  4. Edit the following fields:
    • Social Link Type - Drop down of social media option to choose from (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube)
    • Social Link URL - URL to the social link
    Content Editor Content Area - Social Media

  5. Select Insert external link to modify the link properties listed below:
  • Link Description - Enter social media type (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube)
  • URL - Enter the URL of the social media website
  • Target Window - Select "New browser" from the drop down to open the social media in a new browser tab
  • Custom - Leave blank (N/A)
  • Style Class - Leave blank (N/A)
  • Alternate text - Enter same text as what you entered in the Link Description field
