CT Annual Secondary Transition Symposium

Transitioning Back into ACTION!

Friday, May 10, 2024 | 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. | Central Connecticut State University (CCSU) – Student Center The eighth annual symposium will take place over three Tuesdays and will be virtual again this year.

The CT 9th Annual Secondary Transition Symposium will continue to build the capacity of educators and other professionals, in partnership with middle and high school students with disabilities and their families, to improve secondary transition programming and services for students with disabilities.

The symposium is one full-day in-person session. There will be a variety of presentations for each audience role: students/youth, parents/families, and educators/professionals.
All participants must register to attend the event. There is a $15 registration fee. Students/Youth are FREE.

Who Should Attend?

Parents/Families/Caregivers along with their Middle and/or High School Students with Disabilities, Transition Coordinators/Specialists, Special Education Teachers, Vocational/Career Teachers, School Administrators, and other Professionals

2:15-3:30 p.m. - Breakout Sessions #3

12:45-3:30       Breakout Sessions (these are double sessions that take place during both afternoon breakout sessions)
