The Connecticut State Department of Education, Bureau of Special Education (BSE), is planning to implement a new Individualized Education Program (IEP) document and the Special Education Data System (CT-SEDS) in the 2022-23 school year. This page will provide up-to-date information, documents and tools to assist in the roll-out of the new IEP.
The CSDE developed a series of Preview Training Sessions that were released, recorded, and posted prior to the launch of CT-SEDS.
Restraint and Seclusion Preview Session
To Supplement current and future formal training opportunities, the CSDE is offering a brief Restraint and Seclusion Session to document and generate and Restraint and/or Seclusion incident in CT-SEDS.
To supplement current and future formal training opportunities, the CSDE is offering a series of brief Section 504 Preview Sessions to highlight the new 504 Plan template and how CT-SEDS will support the development and generation of a 504 Plan.
