In Connecticut, school choice programs are available to any student who resides in the state. School Choice programs help to raise student achievement and to “reduce racial, ethnic and economic isolation.”
The term “school choice” means parents have an opportunity to choose a free public school that is outside of their home district that match their child’s interest and passions.
Eligibility requirements vary by program, locations, and town of residency status.
