Teacher of the Year Ceremony
Due to inclement weather, the Teacher of the Year Ceremony has been postponed to December 16, 2025 from 5-7pm. Doors will open at 4pm. The Ceremony will take place at the Bushnell Theater in Hartford, and the order of events will remain the same.

The Code of Federal Regulations for the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) [7 CFR 225.9(d)(6)] details specific requirements for submitting claims for reimbursement to state agencies by SFSP sponsors. The recommended timeframe for submitting claims is the 15th of the month following the month covered by the claim. Original and revised claims must be submitted no later than 60 days following the last day of the month covered by the claim.

Submitting Claims 

Connecticut SFSP sponsors submit claims online through the CSDE's Online Application and Claiming System for Child Nutrition Programs (CNP System).
