Teacher of the Year Ceremony
Due to inclement weather, the Teacher of the Year Ceremony has been postponed to December 16, 2025 from 5-7pm. Doors will open at 4pm. The Ceremony will take place at the Bushnell Theater in Hartford, and the order of events will remain the same.

Process for Reallocation

  • CSDE determines the amount of funds available for reallocation.
  • CSDE sends notification of availability of funds, and request for letters of interest.
  • Eligible LEAs apply by submitting a letter of interest
  • Letters of interest are evaluated
  • CSDE notifies LEAs identified to receive reallocated funds, and adjusts LEA budget in the eGrants Management System.
  • LEAs receiving reallocated funds revise funding application to account for increase.

In cases where CSDE does not receive any letters of interest, funds will be distributed to eligible LEAs based on need.
