Process for Reallocation

  1. CSDE determines the amount of funds available for reallocation
  2. CSDE sends notification of availability of funds, and application period opens for eligible LEAs
  3. Eligible LEAs apply by submitting a letter of interest
  4. CSDE evaluates letter of interest according to formula and awards available funds in rank order based on applications
  5. CSDE notifies LEAs identified to receive reallocated funds, and adjusts budget in the e Grants Management System
  6. LEAs receiving reallocated funds revise funding application to account for increase.

In cases where the SEA does not receive any letters of interest, funds will be distributed to eligible LEAs based on need.
