Mark your calendars! Join educators and literacy leaders from across Connecticut on October 29, 2026, for a dynamic day dedicated to advancing literacy achievement for students grades kindergarten through five (K–5).
Hosted in partnership by the Connecticut State Department of Education’s Center for Literacy Research and Reading Success, Central Connecticut State University, and the University of Connecticut, this statewide conference will showcase Connecticut’s K–5 literacy journey.
Participants will engage in interactive sessions and collaborative discussions focused on evidence-based literacy teaching and learning.
Whether you are a teacher, reading specialist, interventionist, literacy coach, school or district leader, or higher education partner, this conference offers an opportunity to connect with colleagues, celebrate progress, share evidence-aligned literacy practices, and strengthen our collective efforts to ensure every student becomes an independent and proficient reader.
