MUNI Trust

OPEN ENROLLMENT BEGINS, JULY 1, 2024

MUNI Trust is a Retirement Investment Trust Fund administered and invested by the Office of the State Treasurer for Connecticut municipalities. Municipalities may be eligible to invest some or all of their retirement fund assets in MUNI Trust if they have established and maintain a municipal retirement plan that is not already enrolled in the Municipal Employees Retirement Fund (MERF or MERS).  To learn more about MUNI Trust, please read the documentation below, including the Declaration of Trust, the Participation Agreement, the Investor's Guide and the Investment Policy Statement.  Questions about MUNI Trust can be directed to MUNI Trust Administration: OTT.MUNITrustAdministration@CT.Gov or by calling 860-702-3118.

                                      Enter MUNI Trust Online Portal

The MUNI Trust Online Portal allows investors to access and transact on their MUNI Trust account.  By utilizing the MUNI Trust Portal, investors can deposit or withdraw funds, monitor balances, confirm trades, access transaction histories and print monthly statements. 

The Online Portal is hosted by NRS, the service provider working with State Street Bank on MUNI Trust.  State Street Bank provides global custody, accounting, transfer agency and performance reporting services for the Office of the Treasurer.  First-time users must obtain a User Identification (User ID) and a temporary password by contacting the portal's service center at 1-877-225-8481 with their account number between 9:00am and 4:00pm Monday-Friday.  When logging in for the first time, you will be required to select a new password and answer security questions.  All online portal questions can be directed to the NRS/MUNI Trust Service Center by emailing NRS_StateofCT@nrstpa.com or calling the service center.
