Governor's Urban Youth Violence Prevention Program

The Office of Policy and Management announces the Governor’s Urban Youth Violence Prevention Program.  This is a competitive program for municipalities and nonprofit agencies with the goal of reducing urban youth violence by providing grants for programs to serve youth ages 12 to 18 years of age in urban centers within Connecticut during the 18-month period of January 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011.  Applicants may request funding in the range of $75,000 to $150,000 and applications are due Tuesday, December 15, 2009.
