Connecticut Energy Advisory Board -
Technical Consultant: Non-Transmission Alternatives Assessment
The State of Connecticut, Office of Policy and Management, is seeking proposals to provide technical support to the Connecticut Energy Advisory Board (CEAB) in connection with an evaluation of future electric energy needs in the greater Hartford area and the formulation of proposed solutions to those needs now underway at ISO-New England (ISO-NE).
The intent of this Request for Proposals is to identify individuals or firms with the necessary expertise to provide technical expertise for CEAB to solicit and study non-transmission alternatives (NTAs) to transmission solutions proposed by ISO-NE in conjunction with the Greater Hartford Area Reliability Study (GHARS) now underway. The contracted consultant will assist CEAB with the identification of specific NTA opportunities and potential solutions, will serve as liaison with ISO-NE during the GHARS project, and supply other technical services as specified in the RFP scope of services.
