The Criminal Justice Policy Advisory Commission, commonly referred to as CJPAC, was established by Public Act 06-193. It was formerly the Prison and Jail Overcrowding Commission.
CJPAC is chaired by the OPM Undersecretary for the Criminal Justice Policy and Planning Division (CJPPD), Daniel Karpowitz.
