Health Care Cabinet

The Health Care Cabinet includes healthcare policy experts who advise the Office of Health Strategy on issues related to federal health reform implementation and development of an integrated healthcare system for Connecticut.

The Cabinet may convene working groups, which include volunteer healthcare experts, to make recommendations concerning the development and implementation of service delivery and healthcare provider payment reforms, including multi-payer initiatives, medical homes, electronic health records, pharmaceutical pricing, and evidenced-based healthcare quality improvement.

The Health Care Cabinet operates under the following principles:
