Special Exhibition

Connecticut's Revolution (July 4, 2026, to July 9, 2027)

Connecticut’s Revolution commemorates the 250th anniversary of the United States and Connecticut’s role in the founding of the nation. Exhibiting some 75 artifacts and documents from the museum, the State Archives, and museums across the state, Connecticut’s Revolution helps us understand how everyone in Connecticut was affected by the American Revolution and how our small state played an out-sized role in the war’s outcome.

Connecticut’s Revolution is brought to you by corporate sponsors Liberty Bank, ProPark, and Robinson + Cole, and with support from Connecticut Humanities and the National Endowment for the Humanities.
