Malloy today announced that the Governor’s Residence, typically a popular spot for kids trick-or-treating in Hartford, will not be handing out candy this Halloween. Earlier today, Governor Malloy urged local mayors and first selectmen to make a decision about Halloween celebrations in their respective cities and towns.

  Governor Dannel P. Malloy hailed the passage of bipartisan legislation aimed at reinventing Connecticut by creating new jobs, spurring innovation and strengthening the state’s overall competitiveness.
