Governor Ned Lamont of Connecticut, Governor Charlie Baker of Massachusetts, Governor Janet Mills of Maine, Governor Phil Murphy of New Jersey, Governor Gina Raimondo of Rhode Island, Governor Phil Scott of Vermont, and Governor Chris Sununu of New Hampshire today announced an extension of the suspension of interstate youth hockey competitions for public and private schools and youth hockey leagues through at least January 31, 2021.

Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and District of Columbia Commit To Historic Program To Reduce Climate Pollution, Invest in Transportation
Governor Ned Lamont of Connecticut, Governor Charlie Baker of Massachusetts, Governor Gina Raimondo of Rhode Island, and Mayor Muriel Bowser of the District of Columbia today signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) committing to a groundbreaking, multi-jurisdictional program that pursues systematic and substantial reductions in motor vehicle pollution – the largest source of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions –and re-invests $300 million each year across these jurisdictions in cleaner transit, modern infrastructure, and healthier communities.

Governor Lamont Announces Approval of Moderna’s COVID-19 Vaccine in Connecticut
Governor Ned Lamont today announced that he has directed the Connecticut Department of Public Health to add Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine to the state’s ongoing vaccination program following a recommendation from the Governor’s COVID-19 Vaccine Advisory Group’s Science Subcommittee that it be authorized in the state.
