Veteran Indicator on Drivers License or Identification Card

All Connecticut Veterans with qualifying service, are eligible to receive the Veteran Flag Identifier on their driver’s license or identity card.

1. Eligibility. DD-214 or pre-1950 WG AGO Discharge certificate.
    
   • Qualifying active military service (usually DD 214)  
   • Proof of qualifying reserve component service (DD 214 (with DD 214-1), NGB 22, reserve component discharge orders, etc.)
   • The characterization of Discharge must be honorable or under honorable conditions for the qualifying service.
