Social Work Services develops services and methods of service delivery designed to respect the client’s right to self-determination and empower and protect individuals, families and those who are economically disadvantaged or otherwise vulnerable.

The State Department on Aging ensures that Connecticut’s elders have access to the supportive services necessary to live with dignity, security, and independence. The Department is responsible for planning, developing, and administering a comprehensive and integrated service delivery system for older persons in Connecticut.
